The new version 2.7 of Xpert-Timer is now available for download. Customers that use our XTWebserver are requested to update it as well.

Following changes have been made:

-New: Edit timestamp – You now have the option to set the billing status in the “Edit timestamp” dialog. The price, price per unit and billing unit are visible for your reference, but cannot be changed in this dialog.

- Bugfix: Reporting – Wrong day of the week was marked in the tab “month”:

- New: Timestamp list – New column “Pr./unit” and “Biling unit”.

- New: You can now enter a Komment to your invoice items. Use the right mouse button to add a comment. You need to edit your printing template in order to print the new field. How to do this will be discussed in a seperate blog entry.

- Bugfix: Project manager – The filter on projects types didn’t work for more than 250 results.

- Bugfix: Accounting factor fo usere deleted (used to be in an old version of XT)

- Bugfix: To Do List – Error when priting tasks

- New: Synchronization between different timezones is now available.

Please download the newest version from our website: http://www.xperttimer.com/download and install over your existing version. No need to activate a license file again.

The most noticeable bug in the previous version was the loss of the project descriptions. The data was still saved in the database, but was not shown in the project settings. This bug is fixed now.

All changes made:

New:

• Project manager: Timestamps and history entries are shown for filtered projects only, if option “Show times of all projects” is checked.
• Project manager: Only print timestamps and history entries according to the filter settings.

Bugfixes:

• General setting: Detects when Hibernation is aborted
• Printing: Supports US-Letter-Format when printing
• Project properties: Description of project did not show
• Project manager: Manual teimestamp entry now also possible in mode “See Projects of all users”

Version 2.0.7.614 has been released and is available for download on Xpert-Timer Download.

Following new feature was implemented:

• New: If you filter projects in the project manager, the timestamps and history entries of these filtered projects are shown in the project manager and can be printed

New:

• Document management: You can now mark multiple documents at once to send them through email or to delete them.
• User management: The system user XTADMIN can now move timestamps from other users from one project to another. So if you need to move multiple timestamps of multiple users, log in as XTADMIN.
• Project settings / Assign users: Now if you create a new projects, you can immediately assign multiple users to that new project.
• Projectmanager: You can now add users to a project by right clicking on the user list underneath the project.
  
• Manual entry: We’ve optimized the project search in the manual entry dialog. If you enter parts of a project name now and hit enter, Xpert-Timer will automatically select the appropriate client and project.
• Timebar: The paused project is now displayed in the timebar

Bugfixes:

Projects: If a paused project was stopped the comment didn’t work. It’s fixed now.

Projects: The hourly rate for a project was not saved, when creating a new project

Autostart: A Shell error occured sometimes when starting Xpert-Timer

Invoicing: We fixed the problem, that some invoice items were displayed double.

Project manager: We fixed an error when printing the project list while displaying all projects of all users.

Document management: Scanning documents works again

Client management: We extended the city field to 40 letters.
