It’s finally here! Hundreds of clients are waiting for it. The task list know from Xpert-Timer Pro for Windows will soon be available for Xpert-Timer Mobile on Android. This allows to exchange all project data between the mobile Android device and Xpert-Timer Pro for Windows.
The To-Do’s in the task list can be categorized and prioritized like in the Windows version. In addition, the progress can be specified and the duration of each task can be estimated, in order to plan the working day. Each task is assigned to a project, which in turn can be linked to a customer. The subproject and task level remain optional and can be enabled in the Xpert-Timer settings. With this additional hierarchy level, the project time tracking software is even more powerful. Now it is possible to time even the smallest tasks of a job or project. The system still does not rely on an internet connection. Xpert-Timer can be used anytime, everywhere for time tracking.
What else is new? A barcode reader is now integrated in Xpert-Timer. Self-generated QR codes can be read from the program. Very handy when there are a number of repetitive tasks that have to be processed. Create the tasks once in Xpert-Timer and then use the QR codes to start the task.
Xpert-Timer comes with a new look. The new theme “Holo” blends into the new Android 4 look. In addition, the configuration settings are now better sorted and grouped. Dropbox can now be used to upload the data backup or reports. Also Google Drive, if installed.
The new version is awesome! The trial version of Xpert-Timer Mobile is available from 05/09/2012 on Google Play for download. A week later the full version will follow.
Wow this looks like one great app! I never knew that they had time tracking software on apps now. I mean I guess I should have figured that, but I never actually thought of it. Thanks for sharing!
